th (1)Thy Kingdom Come
26th May to 5th June 2022

‘Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus.

Since its start in May 2016 God has grown Thy Kingdom Come from a dream of possibility into a movement. Christians from 172 countries have taken part in praying ‘Come Holy Spirit’, so that friends and family, neighbours and colleagues might come to faith in Jesus Christ.

This praying together has been across our diversity and differences as every person, household and church are encouraged to pray in their own way.

During the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who takes part will:
* Deepen their own relationship with Jesus Christ
* Pray for 5 friends or family to come to faith in Jesus
* Pray for the empowerment of the Spirit that we would be effective in our witness’

Covid Regulations
The Government has updated guidance for the Safe Use of Places of Worship following the removal of Plan B restrictions. Under the new guidance, most of the previous legal restrictions have been removed.  The Methodist Church has published guidance going forward full details of which can be found HERE. In particular we would encourage people to be aware of the comfort and safety of those around them. We would request that worshipers continue to wear face coverings to reduce the risk of transmission in crowded or enclosed spaces, particularly if ventilation is poor and where you are sharing space with people you do not normally meet.

A Methodist Way of Life is a way of living. It is how we try to live our lives in response to God’s love, made known to us in Jesus.  To find out more about A Methodist Way of Life click HERE or watch the video below
